The first Senior Theatre production of Class Act's season is a heart warming yet harrowing story set during WWII. Blitz is guaranteed to captivate the audience from opening to final curtain. Set against the backdrops of war torn London, the sweltering climate of Malaya and a deceptively safe and tranquil rural escape for the youngest members of the Bamford family. Shocking events lead to terrible consequences for Terry and his siblings and danger looms for father Will; lost in the Malayan jungle. Eldest daughter, Eve is left behind to endure the bombardment and protect the family home at any cost. This drama production features genuine news reel, vintage footage and recorded and live performances of some of your favourite war time songs. It celebrates the love and endurance of family but reminds us of the terrible sacrifices they make in times of war.
